PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS:
Heart:
Create a MR: CH 3, 9 DC in MR, CH3, SL ST back in MR. Tighten MR, Fasten off and weave in ends.
Headband:
Size Chart:
Newborn - CH 59
3-6 months - CH 63
6-12 months - CH 71
Toddler/Child - CH 75
Foundation CH Row: CH required number to meet desired size (see Size Chart above)
3 DC in 3rd CH from hook. **SK next CH. SL ST in next CH. SK next CH. 4 DC in next CH (shell stitch created). Repeat from ** to end. SL ST in final CH of row.
Turn work so that you are working on the backside of the foundation CH row. You will work 4 DC in the same ST, just on the opposite side. **SK next CH. SL ST in next CH. SK next CH. 4 DC in next CH (shell stitch created). Repeat from ** to end of the Row. SL ST in the last ST. Leave a long tail to weave the ends of the headband together. Once the ends are joined, weave in remaining ends and trim away any excess yarn.
If desired, attach heart on headband now.
