Hi everyone! I recently made this dish cloth set for a friend as a gift and wanted to share. The pattern worked up quickly and I was really pleased with how they turned out. The scalloped edge is my absolute favorite part of the pattern! This pattern is easy enough for beginners and makes a great gift, especially if you need something in a hurry. I found the basket in the photos at my local Target however any tray or basket would work. You could also add lotions and soap to complete the set. I hope you will enjoy the pattern as much as I did and thanks for visiting my shop!
If you would like the printable PDF version of this pattern you can find it here in my shop for $1.

CH 31
Row 1: 1 HDC SL ST in 3rd CH from hook and in each CH ST to the end of the row. CH 1 to turn. (29 HDC SL ST made)
Row 2: 1 HDC in each ST to the end of the row. CH 1 to turn. (29 HDC made)
Rows 3-27: Repeat Rows 1 and 2 through Row 27. Even rows will be a row of HDC STS and odd rows will be a row of HDC SL STS. You will end with a row of HDC SL STS (Row 27). After Row 27 CH 1 and turn the dish cloth to begin working the border down the side and around the dish cloth.
Border:
The CH 1 at the beginning of each round will not count in the ST count.
Round 1: 1 SC in each ST around the dish cloth, working 3 SC into each corner ST. When you reach the corner you started with join with a SL ST into the 1st SC and CH 1.
Round 2: **1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 SC in next ST, SL ST next ST. Repeat from ** around. If the stitch count ends slightly off with the the last SL ST it is not a problem. Simply adjust as needed at the end of Round 2 by adding or taking away a SL ST.
Fasten off and weave in all remaining yarn ends.
Finished! I hope you love your new farmhouse dish cloths and thank you for stitching along with me!
