Delicate Face Scrubbie Crochet Pattern

STITCHES & ABBREVIATIONS:
Bean Stitch
CH = Chain
HDC = Half-Double Crochet
INC= Increase (Increase = 2 STS in same ST)
MR= Magic Ring
SC= Single Crochet
SL ST = Slip Stitch
ST(S) = Stitches
PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS:
Bean Stitch Explanation - Insert hook in ST and pull yarn up (2 loops on hook) *yarn over and insert hook back into same stitch & pull yarn up (4 loops on hook) repeat from * 2 more times until you have 8 loops on the hook. Yarn over and pull working yarn through all 8 loops on hook. Close with a CH ST.
Note 1 - This pattern will begin with a Magic Ring (also known as a Magic Circle). An alternate method to begin your work is to start by chaining 2 and then work all stitches for Round 1 into the second chain from the hook. The chain 2 method to start may be easier if you are a beginner or not familiar with how to make a Magic Ring.
Note 2- When working in rounds, I recommend using a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, throughout the pattern.
Scrubbie:
Using the E Hook and desired yarn: *The CH 1 after the join in each Round will NOT count in the stitch count.
Round 1: 6 SC in MR. Join with a SL ST to the first SC of the round. CH 1. (6 SC made)
Round 2: (1 HDC INC in each SC around). Join with a SL ST to the first HDC of the round. CH 1. (12 HDC made)
Round 3: 1 Bean Stitch in each ST around. Join to first Bean Stitch of round with a SL ST. CH 1.
(12 Bean STS made, 12 CH STS made)
Round 4: 1 HDC in each ST around. Join to first HDC of round with a SL ST. CH 1. (24 HDC made)
Round 5: 1 Bean Stitch in each ST around. Join to the first Bean Stitch of the round with a SL ST. CH 1. (24 Bean STS made)
Round 6: 1 SL ST in each ST around. (48 SL STS made). Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
